Concrete Courts

shuffleboard court
Before the advent of the new plastic and vinyl products, shuffleboard courts were always laid in concrete. Many people still prefer a traditional court, and in some instances, such as public parks and gardens, there are some advantages.

It should be remembered that there is always a maintenance issue with concrete. It has to be re-painted regularly, and the lines remarked. The surface also needs waxing occasionally.

It is essential that the court is laid to a high spec. If the concrete starts to crack and the edges rise it will be impossible to play on. Shuffleboard Europe can provide free of charge information and advice on how to lay a concrete court. Plus the names of suppliers of colour stain and line paint. We will then be delighted to quote you for the equipment you need to go with it.
